That sounds about right, especially when RB inlets are $250 usd for a pair

Peter from Tuning Werk offers larger diameter change pipes for bot the N55 and N54 plateforms. He also thermo coats them.

Peter really knows what he is doing with our cars. His 1M's safety cars put out 700ish Hp. His M235i I drove was making 444Hp! Don't matter what engine you have... he can make it faster.

Here is some more eye candy...

Peter is great. He knows alot about the platform.

From what I can tell the N55 doesn't have a restrictive hot side charge air pipe on RHD as there's much more space o to work with given only the single turbocharger.

Quite like upgraded airbox, pistons and crankshafts.

I'm actually selling these on a core exchange basis for $229.

If I could do a few at a time they would be cheaper as my guy charges me a premium to do a one-off pipe.

That's actually a LHD pipe bud and I could be wrong, but it looks identical to the OEM pipe which has simply been thermo coated.

still has some of the OEM dents - that's the stock pipe though not 'larger'... soo definitely OEM, as per @JD75's comment haha

but... those inlets

couldn't pay me to use them.

Could just be bad pictures, but they look too similar to the OEM inlets in bend radius/shape etc. Sexy, sure, but 100% function? not so much. Might be just me though. Function>=form

ED: some of their products seem great, like the intake box above..

others? well it's proven to be a bad idea to run lightweight crank pulley... yet there one is..

crankshaft? i couldn't see crankshafts on their site - wonder what pricing on their rods/pistons is like though.

I can say with 100% certainly that the larger intake and turbo pipes are NOT stock. They do mimic the dents in the stock pipes... but the TuningWerk plumbing/pipes are larger in diameter.

You know there is a reason why TW is getting 730ish reliable HP in the N54 and 450ish Hp out of the N55 engines. Its more than just bolt on's.

A core exchange is where I send you a modified compressor discharge pipe and in return you send me your OEM un-modified pipe once you have installed the upgraded pipe.

why not do more of a complete upgrade then?

what's the point of keeping dents, when you're making it custom? really doesn't make sense.

also, when you're talking 730hp, are you talking at the wheels or at the engine? There's plenty of other tuners these days getting close to 700rwhp now, with much better LOOKING parts performance wise anyway.

tbh never even heard of them until today anyway haha

Yeah i couldn't see a crank on there?

wonder if their pricing would beat VAC. Wish i'd bought them a couple years back, when the dollar didn't suck so much lol.
