Here are my pics. 10 days late, I know, but I've either been driving, working, or washing the car (can't take a pic of a dirty car :wink.
BTW, heard you ran into my bro on the pittsburgh forums..... http://www.flickr.com/photos/27403718@N05/ |

Just got my tints done today: 20% all around, elininated my dealer frame from the back, and got my GP Thunder 7500's installed today....absolutely transforms the car - just looks meaner and sexier
Updated my flickr to reflect a couple new pics. http://www.flickr.com/photos/27403718@N05/ BTW, got my tints done @ Solar Guard in Monroeville. Guy said he had done a black with red interior a couple weeks ago.....a fellow addict, maybe?? |

You're on pace with me, then....just passed 1000 miles in 2 wks!!
Little disappointed in the GP Thunders, to be honest. The inner rings light up well, but I can barely tell the outers are even on (even in the dark!!). I guess you can't beat the price, but I'm on the lookout for any good LED solution. You know of any good service places in Pittsburgh (preferrably north hills)? A friend of mine wants to get her 150,000+mi 3-series serviced without paying dealer service prices. |

hey man...
I know a guy with a shop in Sewickley... it's call Petes European Technique or something or other... I really wish I knew the exact name. They typically work on porsches but would do the BMW for sure. I can't speak to prices, so give them a call... they are a good shop! 412-262-1402 But this leads me to my second question... please do tell me more about this 'friend' with an m3??? LOL!!! just kidding man. |

dude, i can't break down for a touchless wash... i feel like i should manually wash the thing but man it needs it almost daily! the blue kills me with all this pollen in the air. have you been 'driving' yours? did you get a 6spd? I know i was trying to learn how to drive this car and got out of shape a few times! fun car, i can't wait until i get a track day scheduled. I'm planning on getting the Dinan chip within the next 1000 miles... |

Mine is a DD....no choice in the matter. I might have been able to pony up next year, but my dad had the suggestion (stupid responsibility ) of concentrating on paying down my mortgage to get rid of PMI - I should be out of that in about 18 months. It might mean going over on the lease mileage, but I'll have less unnecessary debt and be more able to easily pay for the excess then.
I did get a stick - only way to fly :headbang: - pretty easy to launch, once I got done with break-in. Scared a couple friends with that :eyebulge: Keep me updated on how you like the Dinan - mine is leased, but I may buy it out if the reliability isn't a big issue with the turbos and I can get another car for a DD by then. If you end up at a track day, let me know. I want to get into that, but have no experience. :w00t: .....and just so I can use all the emoticons....:w00t::wub::iono: |

sounds good man... i am going to go out to a track day and i have no experience either! so it's all good.
i hear you on the mortgage, and am thankful i'm not dealing with that! How many miles? I have 1200 almost... it's my daily too! when i said "driving" i meant, sideways and donuts lol... I did both just a little to get an idea on what i'm dealing with. i'm not a RWD guy, so it's new to learn! |

Haven't had the guts to break the car sideways yet. I'm still considering myself learning the RWD, even though I've owned an IS300 before, but that was auto, and I never took advantage of it like I did my accord before that. I was a young fool then, but I did know how to use every iota of that car's capability....I never ever gave any credence to the 128ers idea of not really being able to use 'all' of the 135's power.
But....screw that!! It'll just take longer to learn how to use it all, then...watch out!! :headbang: |

I live in Shadyside. I got my car through Ron Kean at Sewickley Cars (best CA in all the Americas). Never driven a manual transmission OR a RWD before my 135. I tracked it last week; a first for me (with any car). Ridiculous fun! Can't wait to get out there again. It'll put the 'addict' in 1Addict.

Live outside Philly near Chestnut Hill. Haven't seen too many 135s (or even 128s) around here yet. Expect to see many more once '09s ship. Would love to see a 135 with some performance options like exhaust, etc.

I'm in the suburbs of Allentown, picking up my '09 next month, and I have yet to see one 135i, a couple 128's though... Any 135i owners from Lehigh Valley here?
