130i AT RPM limit

I'm starting to wonder if BMW changed the RPM shift limit on the LCI 130i... I've got a pre-LCI and it changes gear at ~7200RPM as the following video shows:

Some people with 130i asked me if I had tuned my car, which I haven't, because theirs would not go over the redline at 7000RPM. An example can be seen here (you can see it's a LCI 130i because it has the engine temperature gauge which is absent in the pre-LCI):

Another video shows a pre-LCI 130i shifting just like mine:

Does anyone know the answer to this? And, more importantly, why did BMW, if they did it, changed the shifting RPM on the LCI models? Since this is a performance oriented car, they shouldn't have done that...
