The BMWPE has a metal rod/stub right where the stock muffler had the vacuum servo inlet pipe, and it's there specifically to slip the hose over. If you don't have one on your new exhaust, just plug the hose with a ball bearing, golf tee, bolt or whatever, and then zip-tie it up out of the way.

you know you can just disconnect the electronic control for it behind the brake light, rather than messing with the vaccuum lines etc

Woo sorry for being so late guys. So I had a buddy record with me my exhaust, and as soon as I turned on my car, the two cars behind me alarms started going off. The exhaust isnt even that loud : <. I have 3 finals on monday/tuesday so expect a full review with sound clips and pics on tuesday or wed !

Is there laser etching on your exhausts Greenkirby/Unce? Or are they totally clean?

Damnnn, was gonna go with the safety of warranty with the BMWP exhaust but now I'm considering this!

the top of the exhaust says magnaflow on it with laser etching. However, my exhaust isn't sticking out soo much to see it. I will take a better pic for you !

You don't think it will make it raspy if you take out a resonator? It would be a shame if it sounded like a civic with a fart can exhaust.

I'm sorry, but how the hell could you not clean that off your seat????It bothers the HELL out of me when there is bird shit on my paint, I couldn't imagine it inside my car. That's just gross and lazy!! You'll be lucky if it didn't stain the leather.

Just got hooked up with BMWPE today from my local dealer for 580$ installed! (at cost + free labor!) I am very excited about the noise and how my 128 actually sounds mean!

Wow!!! That's a great price with installation! Was it at United? Could I get the same price?

No it was at Global Imports Atlanta. They are great people mind you, I have just had a spin of bad luck with them. My service rep has been more than willing to help me out with all my issues to get me in and out as fast as he could!

See below for the story.

I doubt that anyone could do dealer cost + no labor charge as that means the dealer makes nothing off of the part...

My car went in for an oil change about 2 months ago (no problems...) and since then the dealer has managed to blow out 2 radios, update my software that now causes an uncurable problem, messy up the interior of my car, not install the head unit correctly etc...

Thus all this required my car to be in the shop over 6x within a month to resolve these little issues and has caused me countless wasted hours...

Went and talked with the Dealer Manager the other week and got the ball rolling for some kind of deal to compensate me for all the trouble that I had gone through.
