Alpina B3 Flash

Few thoughts,
Daily driving in “D” the car is a little more mellow then stock. Transmission shifts earlier but the upside is gas mileage has gone up by 2 MPG. It’s like an ECO mode. Kick down still works so this is the mode I use most of the time.

Driving is “S” is better then before. Shift points hold longer, revs higher and gear changes are noticeable quicker. This is the mode I drop into if I’m toying around some curves or want to pass aggressively.

Driving in “M” is spectacular. Shifts are mere blips, no lurching. Rev match on down shift is incredibly perfect. In M mode puts a smile of my face each time. This is the mode I drive in when I want to giggle like a little girl

Worked with Alex at Alpine done remotely, check out my remote coding station, and they are fantastic. Ran me a whopping 125 and I got a bunch of extra coding done also.

Highly recommended to any of you AT owners.

What all was required to do the remote coding? I looked into getting this done locally, but no one seems to do it in my area.

You need a laptop with access to the internet. Alpine sends you the DCAN cable and a thumbdrive, load software, set up an appointment, connect to your car, they remote in and code. Takes 15 min. Send the stuff back and get the deposit back. So simple.

This is better then local coding, you don't even leave your house.

Literally feel the same exact way. Had alex do it remotely a couple weeks ago and it's like driving a different car. He does it over text message, very quick and easy! Lifetime coding!

+2mpg in D and sport modes are a blast! Very nice response
