I saw a Cashmere 128i coupe in Bel Air at Barnes and Noble and someone around my neighborhood occasionally goes prowling in their space gray convertible. I haven't been able to id it as a '28 or '35 yet though.

I think im living in the wrong section of my neighborhood......literally the next block over is owned by the same company but its the higher rent apartment buildings and there are bmws all over the place and in my apartment parking lot my bmw is all alone....

Late to the game - I never noticed the regional area of the board and I have had my 135I one day less then a year. Got it from Raine at Passport. I post most often under the Track section of the board.

There is another 135I in my area (Southern Maryland) and it is also Alpine white. My wife has seen it; but, I have not.

Gonna be ordering a 135 from my buddy John F at VOB. I also talked with Julius at Russel BMW in baltimore who was also a very nice guy.

Both were/are great to deal with, and got an awesome deal on the 1.

That would be me. I saw your 135 only once before. You guys must not take it out too often, but of course looks like you have other cars to use. Mine is my DD.

I plan on attending the bmwcca autocross at summit point this weekend anyone else gonna make it?

I take it out all the time -- 12,500+ miles -- Friday afternoon I headed out to Summit Point to switch wheels on the 911. I ventured over to the FATT to take care of some business and saw that there were two 135s on the track. One owner came over to chat on his way out and we did not get chance to chat, my fault, trying to tie up loose ends before everyone got away.

Normally the 83 is reserved for the track but the C2, 135I, and the Audi have been used for the track (rated in number of days). Sally drives the Audi (Black) or the C2 (Blue) around the park all the time. Since one set of wheels and tires for the 911 fit in the 135, it is backup to the truck for some events. Hence the reason for the 135I at the track on Friday, 28mpg vs 16mpg, and more fun to drive.

Well...I guess if you have better track cars the 1er gets bumped down the totem huh? oh well...
