New Teen 125I Introduction.

Hi all, thought I would chuck up a quick introduction of my E88 125I with a few quick photos I took in the drive way.

The car is a 2008 E88 125I with a few options like comfort access, sport seats ect. Brought it off a couple who just had a baby and were changing to a 4x4.
Because I'm still young (17) my parents helped me out heaps financially with buying the car, they wanted a convertible and an auto box.
Although I would have preferred a hard top and manual, I cant complain too much

Have a few things on my To-Do list, nothing too crazy.
-Gloss Black style 261's
-Piano Black grills.
-Piano Black window trim
-Carbon Centre caps.
-Carbon Badges.
-Blacked out 125I badge
-Smaller Antena.
-Leather reconditioning (done)
-Quick service.
-///M Sport suspension

nice ride regardless - but especially so for a young 'un!

I know of some gloss black 261s that will be available in 3-4 weeks time if you're interested.

For wheels, I'd recommend just going for an aftermarket brand that are already black rather than buying 261s then powdercoating them. Unless you can pick up a set for REALLY cheap.

As for M-sport suspension, I've got a set from my 135i if you're interested. Again, I'd just opt for the aftermarket option instead though.

As for blacking out your badges, you can use Plastidip which should be a quick and easy job.

Wouldn't bother with CF badges and centrecaps...looks a bit tacky. The blue on white roundel looks good on a black car.

+1 On the badges. Didn't like doing it on your dads 335i and the blacking out of the badges i found pointless you can't read it on a black car better off with out the badge as a whole.

M-sport suspension sold on ebay complete for $50 from a brand new 135i just keep an eye out for it cheap option for suspension upgrade over after market costs.

Yeah the 261's are expensive but IMO they look great in a gloss black.
The only reason I'm thinking M-Sport suspension is just because of the price difference as opposed to a good set of aftermarket ones.
The badges are controversial I know but I've got a spare set of centre caps here already and I don't mind the look of the carbon badges( they can look a little JDM) but that's also just personal preference.

And I might contact you later on about that M-Sport suspension

Damn! At 17 I was driving an HR holden and a crappy one at that. When I went to a service station, I checked the fuel and filled up the oil.

Enjoy your ride - it's sweet

I'm surprised you can drive a 125i in VIC on your Ps.

If so, nice work. If not, rebadge with 118i.

Hahaha Thanks and I will try and be tastfull with mods

I dont have any before photo's but I can post some of the end result if you like??
I will have a look when i get home for the name of the product its all DIY, but be ready to have the car off the road for at least 48 hours as you cant sit in the seats. From memory it was $97 for the 2 bottles then $50 or $80 ( cant remeber ) for the wax to apply after. Little expensive but well worth it IMO.

Hey congrats on the car it looks great. My first car was a Camira!
For a 17yr old, at least you come across as more mature than some of the others on here.
I think I've seen that Rav4 in the background with those plates around before.

Congrats on the car! Your mod list is decent but I'd leave out the carbon badges as well. Also instead of rebadging in black just debadge and keep it clean.

Gloss black 261s do look good, but you should maybe add Msport/BMW Performance bodykit to go with it. Also considering you have a 'vert a BMW Performance Exhaust would be a worthy mod to consider.
