128i TPMS

I bought my 128i (2008) in Canada, and I am planning to get a new set of wheels and tires. Do any of you know whether I need to get the TPMS sensor for my new wheels? Cuz I heard that canadian bmw uses another system for detecting tire pressure changes. Thanks

You don't need sensors. Your system is part of the ABS.
