18 inchers would be my only consideration. Prefer the VS8 style.
Actually, I'm in the same boat too. Non-staggered all the way!

Absolutely. I'm thinking 18x8.5 all the way around.

What other wheels are out there that are forged and weight so little at this price? And look good too? Not trying to be an ass, just curious.

How about OZ Ultraleggera? A lot cheaper. Not forged, but strong just the same and weighs the same as Morr. This is a big brand wheel so it can't be too bad!

Volk RE30. A lot lighter. Not as good looking. Probably stronger.

I have RE30 on my Mazda.
Here is the link,
http://www.mazda3forums.com/index.ph...956#msg1836956
MazdaSpeed offset is +52.5. The wheels you see are +43. Weight without tire is 17lb (18x 7.5)

As of Morr, I am interested in VS7 in 18.

Question: why are VS7's 8-spoke and VS8's 7-spoke?

BTW, there's very little chance these are going to be concave for the 1er with it's large offsets.

^ Correct. Before I buy I need to get a good idea of how they'll look with our offsets.

Our offsets are nearly identical to those of the Z4 and E46. Admittedly, the E46 was capable of much lower offsets with how sunk in the wheels were from the factory, but look at any wheels on the Z4 non-M and you should be able to get an idea of what looks are possible on the 1er.

It will depend on the offset. Look at the thread about SSR's in this forum for photos of cars running 19X8.5 with offsets in the mid-30's. I expect to run 18X8.5 but with an offset in the mid-high 40's.

Here are Carlos answers to the questions so far

1. What color choices may be available such as anthracite, black, and gunmetal in addition to the standard silver? Any finish can de done.

2. Will non-staggered be offered and at what width and offset? Non-staggered is a lot less expensive to manufacture and can be offered at any width and offset.

3. Is the silver color anodized or clearcoated or either way? Primed, Coat, Clearcoat.

4. What wheel width and offsets will be developed for staggered? Around 8-10mm more aggressive than OEM.

5. Will there be tire packages available? Yes.

6. What is the soonest the wheels will be available? 90 days from GB closing day.

Here is a photoshop I did of the car with the 19inch Morr Alloys. I am 100% going with their wheels. I am overly impressed.

I really like the wheel, but I'm not sure about the 1ers proportions yet on 19s. Has potential for too much rollin' on dubs look for my eye.
