Awesome, thanks for this... hope I never have to do this myself, but great to know!

Did your warranty get voided for a specific reason?

my warranty was not voided. Dealer would not work on car because of mods. Had to limp car home with bad fuel pump. Car was unsafe to drive by the time I got home. I chose to change the pump myself. Next pump the dealer will change. Car is all stock now

Is there any way to access the HPFP from the bottom of the car? How long does it take you to replace the HPFP? Thanks for the DIY clip.

Just say no to MODS???...why on earth would you say that? I mean the mods did not cause the HPFP problem did they?

It's a joke. Mods cannot cause a HPFP to go bad, or at least BMW would have to prove this.

However, BMW can deny warranty service on a car that is not in stock trim. This is what happened to me.

Oh....well as a current MOD addict I like that slogan about as much as the weed heads liked Nancy Reagans' slogan!
I still have my fingers crossed that mine does not go bad. I am here in Germany and my buddy's '09 M-sport 135i is about to lose its second one...the long cranks have started again for him.

Of course I sold all the mods, I would not drive my car with any MODS, this would void my warranty
