Help Appreciated
Here's the tale: tonight I was completed an oil change, then went to reset my Service Monitor. I worked my way to Reset the oil change interval, successfully reset the interval, then began cycling thru the other categories (brake fluid, etc.) when I reached the brake pad thickness indicator, I had the rear pad interval on the screen, but accidentally pushed the BC stalk button instead of the up/down lever. This caused the service lights to change to red from amber, changed the pad life number to read ----, caused the Service Needed logo (car on a lifti red) to appear, and now when I start the car the red Brake light remains on.
I know the brake system is fine,. All pads/rotors were changed 10,000 miles ago, as well as a brake fluid flush. Car was working fine before the change, and test drove the car ten miles after this incident and brakes are fine. Any idea how to reset the Service Indicators to have this warning disappear? |

Find Dackelone's thread about how to do it. He did a lovely DIY.
