Fair Price for 135i extended warranty?

For those of you who have priced out an extended warranty, what is a fair price for my vehicle based on your experience? If I do it, it will be for 3 years at the Gold level, which covers most everything.

A little additional info.: I have a 2011 135i with about 48.3K miles. I track about once a year, and have a tune, as well as modified downpipe. Incidentally, the dealership installed my tune (I was was surprised by the tacit approval of the device by their agreement to install it). Anyway, they quoted me 2 year, 24K at $2677 (no deductible) or 3 year, 36K at $3289.

How does this fit with what others have seen?

I paid $3K for platinum plan on my 128i.

There was another post about something similar, I was debating doing this but I am in the process of having everything that is noted as being weak on our 1ers replaced under warranty (like evaporator, window regs,) I figure that the car has a warranty on the turbos and hpfp which are common breaks. I don't know if it is worth paying the 3k for the extra warranty since I have the pita things already fixed. But I am concerned about other things breaking but I figure that it won't add up to the money spent on warranty.
