Relocating Vehicle MA -> CA (Recommendations?)

As the title says, I'm looking to relocate from MA to CA come August

Was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for vehicle shipping services who will take good care of my 1M

Intercity Lines is best in the business, they ship cars for a lot of high profile people including Jay Leno and a lot of race teams. I also believe it is a local company but they ship all over the country. It's slightly more expensive than others but they know how to handle vehicles properly and all the carriers are covered.

They are shipping my 1M to Miami in the summer and are the only ones I would trust to do so.

+1 on Intercity Lines. Also Reliable is also very good. Pickup a copy of Hemming's magazine (at any book store) and look up the shipping companies in the back. Use a carrier that has an enclosed trailer.

But why not just drive the car yourself? That would be an awesome road trip!

Intercity lines. I just had my e30 shipped in August, from LA to Boston. It was about $1800 but it was at my house in a week and they have fully enclosed trailers, they wrap the car in a giant blanket and put plastic over the blanket. It will look exactly the way it did when they picked it up

I can only say which two to *avoid*:

Dependable Auto Shipping: Scratched the edge of the rear spoiler on my Saab hatch by opening it in a low garage or something and wouldn't pay for it because it didn't meet their minimum size or deductible requirements. Company was paying for the car relocation, so I didn't have a choice of service.

All Coast Auto Transport: Had to "catch" my friend's car on the receiving end and the total ended up being $100 more than quoted and negotiation would have been nearly impossible (wasn't my car so I didn't really try) because the service actually dropping the car off was only contracted and couldn't deal with pricing differences. "File a claim" he said...my friend probably would never have gotten the money even then. Only found out about the pricing difference on delivery.

Hope you have better experiences than this!

NFW. I just drove my new 135i from MN to CO. What a long, boring, drive that was - to say nothing of the shoulder aches and pains afterward. And that was only 950 miles. I wouldn't do it again.
