You cant tell me that if you have two cars with the same exact mods but different tuners, that a dyno wont show a difference. Sure go to a track and see who's faster down the quarter mile..but that wont prove your point. Someone may shift at 6500 instead of 7000, or miss a shift, or stumble off the line.

This thread is only of vaule to people who use this dyno. Otherwise please dont complain and say we are lying or full of bs. The only possible way to make the track good evidence is by averaging a bunch of passes.

Dyno numbers just give you an estimate of what kind of power your car is making. Taking it the the dragstrip will show what power it is really making. You might be making 415rwhp but then go to the strip, trap 112 and that shows your not near the 400 mark.

I like seeing having my stock dyno then modding it a couple of times then seeing what number's it says I'm putting down before going to the strip to see what numbers I'm really laying down.

People drive me insane. Ive trapped 116 in a r8 v10. Thats over 500hp. Ive trapped 112 in a m5 v10. Thats 505hp. My friends rsx is 630whp and traps 120. Your telling me a car with 200whp more is only going to trap 6-10 mph faster...idk. Definitely no sufficent proof

Power to weight ratio bruh. We aren't comparing different cars here man. We're comparing N54 E82 vehicles within 100lbs of each other curb weight. A 430hp car should easily pick up 3-4mph on a 350hp car.

Dynos are a very useful tool but in truth they are best used for comparison purposes before and after a tune using the same dyno, the same car, same conditions (optimally on the same day).

That will tell you the percentage increases in power and torque.

To compare numbers produced on different dynos is fairly meaningless IMHO.

He's a good guy. We just have differing opinions on the topic.

And what a novel comment! I can't believe this hasn't been brought up in this entire thread! Wow!

So it took you a billion posts to try to get this point across when everyone on here was already in agreeance on it? Maybe if you took the time to think and read sometime you wouldn't look like a child.

You haven't schooled anyone keep thinking that. I'm sure we're all on the same page here, but you seem to eager to vet your "expertise" on the subject that you come off as a child.

Just take your your time and read the above post by myself and Fazerboy...hmmm sounds like we're saying the same thing, yet his point is what you've been trying to say all along?

I know my truth...and jb4 is junk. They cause insane fuel knock in high rpm. And sorry but I dont street race. Almost lost my license twice. Your a moron if you think racing is the best way to prove power. And i trapped 112 in the v10 m5...your telling me its not 400whp...thats right traction is an issue. Again to many variables to compare that way
and for the record- you made it personal (note above).... and the only thing relevant in this thread to "school" "schooled" or schooling" is the fact that you need to go back asap - like 8th grade should do.

I will race pea soup with my Bren tune any day. Lol. There is a stretch on 107 in Lynn to do that on.

That stretch of 107 going into Lynn from revere is perfect for a 40 roll. No cops for 1.5-2 mi at a time

Pretty sure you've wasted more then enough time already in this thread acting like a 10 year old arguing with someone you don't even know.

Get over it. No one cares.

Looked at Drag Times as far down as my listing #127 & can't find a Bren Tune listed. Lots of JB4, Proceeds a few COBBs but no Bren.

Same with the 135i. It Bren can put up those numbers he should be dominating the listings not be among the missing.

Gotta love some of the dyno's you boys have over there...

On a 'realistic' dyno, my 135i with flash tune only makes around 300bhp ATW. You telling me that with an intake (which I doubt adds anything) this car has 115 ATW bhp more than mine?!?!?
If that is the case, he should be running close to 120bhp terminal/trap speed on the 1/4 (my best 111mph)..

Would love to see what it does run..
