Haha, thanks guys! I promised myself I wouldn't take her out last night cos of the rain but couldn't resist. Needless to say, things got a bit dirty

I just hope I didn't exceed the run in rpm limit!

Hey Cozo, congrats on your purchase. I know for a fact there are 2 more AW will be delivered by North Shore BMW shortly.

Just curious to know how many of you ordered your 1M with Comfort Access? or should I say how many didn't, why?

I have CA... Had it on my previous 2 beemers and just love the fact that you don't have to go fishing for your keys..

PLUS its a bonus that you have less function to perform ( inserting key into dash fob ) before starting the beast..

.. NO annoying KEYS dangling from the dash when accelerating/cornering and braking..

Agree...I never followed the manufactures recommended run in procedure..

Broke my 135i and 1M in hard..6 to 6.5K rpm once it was warm.. Drove them out of the showroom like I stole them..

Plenty of hard red line pulls under load or on freeway in 2nd/3rd and 4th..

Never used a drop of oil during the break in on any of these cars..

I got a call from a lovely lady at the dealership this afternoon to inform me my 1M will arrive a week earlier than expected. Now that's great customer service. It looks like my birthday present comes earlier than I thought! Horay.

3000km after 10 weekends whilst it's parked in garage most weekdays. Is mine one of higher run rate? Enjoying every km of it!

ps stopped at pacific highway traffic lights wahroonga, anyone keen on a late night kebab
