+1...Berk all the way including their resonated mid pipes. Best sound IMO.

I was told that since I have a convertible I have to remove the rear support brace (2008 135i) if I go with the Berk Street exhaust - is that ok to do? Or do I just remove it to install the new system and then put it back on?

I have the BMW PE with catless dp's and it sounds mean. On the highway you can barely hear it but when you get on the throttle, it sounds much more aggressive.

Does it have that weird french horn or whistle sound like the AFe mufflerless ones I have heard? I heard a few vides of the AA catback and it has no whistle or weird sounds. The AFe is noticeable in the modbargins video they did awhile back and few other cars on youtube.

Have BMWPE and love it!! Matter of opinion though. What sounds good to one person may not sound as good to another. I listened to all of them and for the price and sound, I went with BMWPE. I also wanted BMWPE since it is OEM.

Absolutely <3 my Berk. Gives it that "exotic growl", its intoxicating. I find myself driving with the windows down more often than not, even in this horrid NC humidity.

I'm in the same predicament but I won't be doing anything until next year. So far after months of reading up on this stuff, I've concluded on Berk. I would prefer BMW PE but I can't justify the price for just an axle back when I know Berk is roughly half the price. So for the price? I would say Berk street.

May I suggest Meisterschaft gt+ Berk resonated midpipes? My frends e90 has that setup and it's excellent, I currently am running the stock MPs but Berk is certainly on the to do list.

Cool, I may go down to Berk or EAS since they are about 40min from me(with no LA traffic that is) and see if they have a car there I can hear. I am sure if I hear it I will want it. I was thinking of going HPF but It is too much money and another member had it and got rid of it because ti was too loud with catless DP's which I have. He said it had a bit of drone also.
