There is no way that this car is shown in August 2010 with a release date of Spring 2011. We've been had!

Most definitely...I do not want to have to do what I had to do with the 135i (The original "concept" was the Tii concept)....then they came out with the production model and I was like WTH?! Ended up spending an extra few grand on the performance parts, paint, and installation.... |

That's true!!! Now if the M1 is taking it's time coming to market, well I just have more time to save for the down payment!! I have a decent enough car to drive until then, and will try to wait for this thing to come out in the open!!!

Yeah....I kinda thought that note from Scott listing all the possible Carbon Fiber parts, color options, and interior options seemed a bit too good to be true for the 'Most affordable' M car.
I am also beginning to wonder if we all got played here????? |

Scott may have been told to keep his mouth shut - we just don't know.
Part of me hopes the M1 doesn't come out, part of me does. I'm torn. |

I'm sure the car is still coming. It seems almost too "done" not to come. You have the spy shots and the M boss talking about it. In my history of following BMW, I've never seen a car come so far and not come. They're probably just ironing out the final details. We can all bring the rain when Geneva is done.

Watch the press conference. It s all so boring two 5 series which looked like cruise ships with electric it will break down easily stuff on it. Also a boring one series and even more boring mini.
No GTS No M1 seen sofar. Bmw is only talking about green and Efficient dynamics boring cars and certainly no drivers cars. I don t see lots of good stuff comming from bmw if this is the route were going downhill on fun at bmw. My g.. boring isn t even the right word it. That 12 min is the worst 12 min i have ever experienced on tv/internet. A very very very big dissapointment about a brand which was sporty and nice to drive have race engines in normal shaped cars etc etc. |
