Comfort access - me vs. wife

I thought I remember this being asked before but I couldn't find it in my search.

My wife and I are getting a 330 with CA, so I had a few questions about how it will work with two fobs. Mine will be in my pocket, and hers in her purse:

1) Does CA work on the passenger side as well? If my wife has her fob, can she just open the door before me or does she have to wait for me to get in and unlock all doors.

2) If we both approach the car with our fobs in our possession, whose fob takes priority for the car's settings?

3) Is seat memory on the passenger side as well? If we're constantly switching between driving and being the passenger, then I'm curious whether both seats have memory, and whether the fobs remember it on both sides. If i drive one night, but am the passenger the next, will the seats adjust accordingly?

4) what if my wife and I are both standing next to the driver side door when I go to open the door. Who's fob takes priority?

thanks.

i'm currently at the port HOPING TO GOD i get on the Freedom

1)It works on the passennger side door as long as the person standing next to it has a fob.

2) There was a thread on this, but I don't remember the answer. I believe it is whomever used the fob first?

3) Seat memory is only on the drivers' side

4) Whatever fob sets it off first, so probably whichever one is closest?

If you are a gentleman, you will open the door for your passenger before going around to your side.

Or you can get in the car and unlock the door from the central locking button.

comfort access sounds more of hassle then convenient.

Say if I walk by my car all the time, but not get in it, does it unlock?

No, it only unlocks as you put your hand into the handle to open the door.

Sure can, I programmed my CA to do this yesterday via iDrive. Love it!

You can choose whether it only unlocks the driver's door, or all four doors.
With idrive, it's easy, I'm sure it can be done by the dealer if you don't have idrive

Only if you are close enough to the door sensor. More than a few feet and you are too far away

It can be programmed with the turn signal stalk if you don't have iDrive. It isn't hard at all.

Everyone is always complaining about people not searching, so I was searching around for information on various topics. I came across this one and it didn't have all the information about comfort access in non iDrive cars, so I thought I would add it in case someone else came across the thread looking for it.
