P*ssed off at Einsenmann!

Just have to clear my mind, will use the forum this time.

Ordered Eisenmann full system 6 weeks ago, they said delivery would be 4 weeks, turned in to 6 weeks since they had a lot of sick people at the sales department (how does that effect manufacturing?). However, when I got the system it was the wrong one. I know there are bigger issues to be dealt with in this world, but come on, when you build specific orders - don't mess up!

Now, I probably have to wait another month and a half or so to get the right one.

F*ck

Skit! Sorry to hear that. I'm about to order full Eisenmann system also, the race one. Which one were you supposed to have? If you have a race system lying around, can I have it?

Something tells me I doubt it was a simple matter of "oh we sent you the race system and not the quieter one, keep both!" Lol

Heja Finland! Im considering the Akrapovic slip-on exhaust with wireless control and carbon tips. Match it with N55 midpipes.

Plan B could be Eisenmann race. Just concerned that it sounds to much all the time. Like the idea with the wireless control to be able to control when to be over or under the radar... ;-)

Love to hear all feedback on Eisenmann as that could be an option. I did see that Ind in the US have them with black tips. Is that something you can spec directly from Eisenmann or is done post?

Localm1 m owner had it said it sounded terrible and rattled around, took it off and went with akrapovic and can't believe the difference. I'd personally stay away from the einsenmann

This sounds like a vendor/distributor issue more than Eisenmann itself. I have the Sport system and I am quite happy with the quality, fit, finish, sound and even though it's not 'inexpensive' it's a good value IMO.

Thought the same thing. Who did you buy the exhaust from?

It's not a dealer issue, I've checked and have it confirmed. However - I'm quite happy with it anyway! Got it mounted today and it's sounds great. It's still in the break-in phase, but in person I think it sounds much better than what Youtube has to offer...

The exhaust has a great mix of deep-tone growl and high-pitch scream. The funny thing is that it sounds like a Ferrari on top gear with high load, but on higher revs with lower gears it sound more like a GT Porsche.

I'd recommend it! Sure Akra could be better, but I'd rather spend the money elsewhere.

I should add it's the Race-spec version.

Let me chime in also.. approx. 3 years ago, I ordered an exhaust that was promised to be delivered I believe in 4 weeks. 4 weeks became 8 and when I finally got it, it didnt fit. It was then shipped back and modified. The final product was amazing but a little dissappointed with the amount of time it took.

Definitely sounds like a vendor issue. I got mine from IND and it was here within a week. Sounds good, perfect fitment, and definitely a great exhaust for the price.

At the end, all is well. I have had Eisenmann Sport on my M3 for three years and I'm more than happy. But these days it's damn too quiet. I'm definitely going for the race system for the 1m. It's not that expensive. 1200€ axle back and 1600€ for the full system, without DPs. Akra would be much much more...

At nearly 1/3 the price of Akra I must say I agree

But you see I live in Sweden, and the "dealer" here only receives payment and pass the order along to Eisenmann Germany - who ships it directly to the customer. I would guess IND has a back-up stock and ship directly from them, correct?

Guess you are correct!

Will see how everything perform after break-in, dealer told me I could swap to soundpipe afterwards if I wasn't happy.

I have no issue regarding short tips or visible welds, I guess you refer to pictures of it? - well, in real life you never get that perspective those pictures show you...

+1 on short tips and visible welds.
Design error.
All Eisenmann I've seen have this problem.

Sounds like the problems come from the dealer that sold it. I had a ton in stock here and more shipping from Germany this Friday.
