The 1er needs a warning before purchase

I think that all 1ers should come with a warning stating that if you have never driven a fast car or a brand new car you are highly suggest to be causious in your purchase....

1ers have been know to cause sleepless nights with you dreaming about driving you car the next day

they have also been known to cause you to drive the long way no matter where you are going

1ers should be considered a every addicting drug and be sold with caution

am I crazy or is anyone else this addicted?

if I seriosly could I would go and drive this car until I ran out of money for gas

You're not alone. I pretty much spend all my time not driving wishing I had somewhere to go.

Umm... wow. I'm spending about $60/wk, or a fill up every 6 days.

I find this forum AMAZING. Yes, the 135i is a quick car, and it is fun to drive. But, folks here are a bit off their rockers. I suspect this might be the first "performance" car for many of you.

I've had V8 'stangs and recently a Nitrous equipped V10 Viper. Now those cars were INSANE with regard to acceleration. They felt DANGEROUS, at times, when driving.

The 135i is great. I like it a lot. But, please... take it down a few notches folks. Once you've driven a few performance cars, the 135i is still wonderful, but, it isn't deserving of "warnings".

We all don't think that the 135 is the fastest thing known to man...we just LOVE the overall package of it. It's one BADASS car. Period.

Yah, but that's why it's "1addicts.com" and not "people-who-think-the-1-series-is-an-okay-car.com"

Try to lighten up Rob. People are just talking about enjoying their new cars. I don't think its meant to be an actual recommendation for a "warning." I've also owned several V8 Mustangs and Camaros over the years. This car is far more fun, IMO. Now a viper on NO2 I have not, I must say. Jsut keep with the spirit -- its all in good fun ....

The 135 is the greatest invention in the history of mankind. Well, at least since man invented woman. Certainly much better than the wheel or sliced bread

Was that too over the top?? I'm trying to be reasonable and objective here ...

I think alot of it has to do with age. How old are the extra excited people? I am sure its a blast, but freaking out is a little strange.

HAVE FUN. Nothing wrong with that.

I think it's fine to get exited when you're getting in on the ground floor of a classic.
