BMWPE: why the price jump?

I looked at this exhaust end of last year, and the price was around $800 from the BMW dealers that sell online here and on eBay. Now the price has rocketed to over $1300... what gives? Is there anything new on this?

maybe they ended production on them, and demand is higher than they expected.

supply down, demand up. ive noticed a lot of buzz in the "For Sale" section regarding the PE.

I feel bad for you guys looking to buy the BMW PE at current prices. I paid around $685 shipped for mine after some negotiating.

+1! Got a heck of a deal on mine. I also noticed a lot of the performance parts have gone up in price. The performance brakes were ~$900 about a month ago....almost $2000 today.

Give it some time...BMW fluctuates their prices a lot throughout the year.

Tischer has it for $997... still almost $200 more than last year... oh well, guess I gotta wait.
Dan@United said that the part# had changed and it had gone NLA (no idea what that means) ,but the price should be adjusted in March.

I wouldnt pay more then 800 for bmw perf i know it sounds good but for 1300 i can get full cat back

The 135i performance exhaust part # changed and thus did the price. The part was no longer available, but now is. We'll post a new part # soon.
