Even I'm excited for you guys! LeMans is a beauty and of course I'm partial to BP's mineral grey.

Loving mine more and more each day. Curious if any of you IS people are planning to do the post break-in period oil change, too. I'm still on the fence and now at 800 miles on mine.

Of course! On my 09-135i I racked up my first bunch of miles going from SEA, SLC(changed oil@~1100, KC, SLC, LA. (changed oil and filter @4500 again).

Hoping to pickup the 135is this weekend and will immediately do a run from LA,PHX,SA(change oil&filter~1350),OKC,KC,Cheyenne,SLC change oil&filter@~3300, then back to KC.

Thanks for the good info as some people argue about whether it's really effective and I've never done it before. Guess there's no downside other than some a little bit of money for piece of mind.

You just doing the oil and oil filter then? Not air filter? And then I'll stop the thread hi-jacking. O=)

Your going to be one driving fool, sounds like fun. I drove down through Kansas and the OK and Texas panhandles last fall on local roads on my way home to AZ, and made much better time than on the interstate. I am undecided on the virtue of changing the motor oil. But I am thinking the differential oil is another story.

Motor On

Visually inspect the air filter. I think I changed the air filter on my 09 after I shipped the car to Hawaii because they were doing lots of construction on the interstate.

Only all the snow has melted.

Only a few hours left. Sounds like tomorrow should be a fun and epic day! That first moment when you see it...or hear it being driven around from a block away....oooooweeeeeee!

Any chance you can wake up at 5am, run into your salesman's bedroom and start jumping on his bed to get him to let you open your present?

She's a beaute! Makes me now kinda wish I got the blue-stitched leather.

Let me know what you think of the mineral grey when you see it at night. In dim light and at night, I think it looks unbelievably gorgeous when it's at its darkest.
