I just sold my modded 05 MCS.

100-200 more hp, RWD, and interior quality better than a Kia.

SOLD.

BMW wants a car to appeal to a younger crowd! Look at what other companies are doing (i.e Altima Coupe, TSX, A4, RX8) all these cars are the company's teen/young adult cool cars. BMW doesn't have a car that can appeal to a young crowd like this and they need 1!

My guess would be that the dealer is confusing a 128i with the 135i. It's certainly a nice thought though and I would love for it be true, I just don't think it's realistic.

Yea, I'm afraid that there are going to be a lot of disappointed people around here, when the end of this week comes & goes, & there is still no official pricing released!

Let's see if we can read between the lines and analyze the language we've heard from BMW to try & deduce the exact price of a base 135i.

"Mid-30s"

Well, crap. That was a short analysis.

I believe pricing is coming this week, but does it really matter? Yes and no. Maybe. Sort of.

I'm planning on about $35k base for my 135i, and +- a few hundred bucks isn't going to sway me. It's more of a procedural hurdle, meaning we're one step closer to bringing the abstract to reality. So far, all most of us have seen are digital bits... I haven't even held a tangible printed picture of a 1er yet. I think once pricing is announced, it takes a large step, if only a figurative one, towards finally becoming real.

So I forgive all the pricing threads, and even partake in a few. This is an emotional process for us. We're addicts.
