What do you think about my color combo?

Kindof a pointless thread I guess, but I'd like to hear some feedback. Jet Black and Lemon Boston might be the hardest color combo to keep clean.. but I can't help myself to this combo. I just imagine driving the car on a nice sunny day after a detail and I'll just be like

My NSX was black with an Ivory interior and it looked nice together. I'm sure yours will look great.

It will look great, plus you don't have to deal with snow or salt so you should be fine.

I like it but I hate the seat-color inserts on the doors. I don't know why, but I like all or nothing: either the entire cabin needs to be the seat color (i.e. porsche), or just the seats. I like black on black better, especially with sport package. I do like your choice of black trim with the lemon, or perhaps the grey poplar.

That stigma doesn't apply to this board but fairly rampant on other bmw forums.

It'll look great when clean

I like looking at other people's black cars but I wouldn't want to own one. Too much work. Years ago, my wife just had to have a black Acura. That didn't last for long. Never again. Well, maybe if I buy an automatic car wash.

During the hour the car is clean, black and lemon will look great.

I personally love the two tone look, the contrast is whats doing it for me :headbang: I know what you mean though, a nice 1tone is classy

I don't know, the high gloss black trim might be too contrasting for the Lemon interior. Have you considered going with the Glacier alum trim?

What do you all think?
If I was getting black again and leather, thats exactly what I would get. But I am getting Alpine White, I am tired of my black 07 Civic Si sedan. I like my cars clean most of the time, and its NOT possible with black. I have had white cars before and its a BREEZE to keep them looking great. Plus I don't have a garage which I think is a must for black vehicles.

Good luck, I am sure she will be a babe.

P.S. the piano gloss black will look awesome with the Lemon, lots of black in the interior besides the seats. It will be 50% Lemon and 50% black, SWEET brother.
