Giving up my #1 spot at BMW of Annapolis

I had a deal negotiated for $1k over ED invoice at BMW of Annapolis with Richard Saah. I made this deal back in early Jan before it was clear how limited this car would be, so I don't know if they'd repeat it again, but I'm sure they'd be up to negotiate and that's one more unspoken spot open now. I sent him an email & left a voicemail last night, so whoever calls first Monday has a good chance of getting the spot.

I decided to to go with a Golf R since it's a little more pratical for me (I can more easily chuck my bike in the back & 4 doors is easier with two kids in child seats). Also, the timing will be better for me budget-wise. So I'll go a little longer outside the BMW fold, but I plan to be first in line for the next gen 1M!

What month is it to be manufactured?

October is what they were told back when the first round of allocations was announced. They said they'd try for seomthing sooner, but from everything I've read here that's pretty much out of their hands.

Atleast you're not asking if someone here wants to "Purchase" your spot. There was someone on this forum who attempted to do that once....
and got flamed... LOL

Golf R is sweet, I am contemplating switching my 128i to the golf R. I use to drive a rabbit as my first car 2 years ago. Only thing that is holding me back is that there are pretty sweet deals on 135i, and I do not have any practicality for the hatch or AWD because I live in texas, and I am the only one who drives my car.

I would imagine, the dealer would allocate your car to the next in line.

True, but only if there's anybody else in line. I'm not sure that there is at the moment since this is a smaller dealer.
