Question: wipers problem
Hey guys,
So I bought a 2009 328i Coupe a month ago, the wipers work for 5 cycles then stop at a random position, i start them again and they do the same and stop working at all. To start them again I have to turn off the ignition then on again just to have them work for 2 times. I checked other posts they had the same problem, I replaced the wipers motor, the two 30A fuses are good and replaced the relay and I still have the same problem. Anyone has any idea what it could be? Its messing me up and I dont know what to do cause it started to rain here in Virginia! I have Carly for BMW and it shows code A6C9 "front wiper blocked", if anyone can help me with this it would be really appreciated. I have some other stuff in the car I wanna ask about but I just need to fix those wipers ASAP so thats what iam focusing on for now. |

Only thing I can think of is maybe the rain sensor? I haven’t had this issue on any of my cars . Yet 👀

soldered to circuit board of JB Fuse Panel. While ANYTHING can fail, THAT has NOT been reported on Forums AFAIK. If you have had any work done under hood that required removal of Diagonal Brace that mounts to center or firewall at rear, improper RE-install of that brace can "Pinch" the wiper wiring at center of firewall, resulting in wiper faults. I would suggest separating the X333 connector (4-pin) & testing wiper motor itself by using jumper wires to connect 12V+ & Ground to that connector. That bypasses all the INPUTS, relays, etc. and simply tests motor function, hopefully CONFIRMING the motor works correctly. We can then suggest "Next Steps" to try to identify where the problem lies in the wiring/connectors. When you post back, please state: 1) If the wipers ever operated correctly during your ownership; 2) What work done under hood prior to wiper fault; 3) Does ANY wiper setting: Fast, Slow, Intermittent, Auto (RLS-Activated) work correctly? 4) Any other fault codes in JBE Module Fault Memory?
