There's a Ghost in my A/C!!

Well, not really...maybe...but I'm not going that far with it just yet.

Yesterday I take my car to the wash (and before I get flamed for not washing it myself, I live in an apt bldg and there's no access to such utilities).

When they're done with it, I get in, turn on the a/c since I don't want to roll the windows down yet...obviously. I drive home. A couple hours later, I leave again. I roll the windows down and turn off the a/c.

Then I'm driving up PCH and the a/c comes on by itself! I turn it off, then it comes RIGHT back on again. I turn it off...two minutes later, it's back on again. It continues this spooky business all night as I run around town!! :mad:

Anyone know of any glitches in the matrix that would cause this? Is this a fluke? Should I take it into the dealer, or wait to see if it happens again today?

Es un fantasma (It's a ghost) muahahaha....seriously, take it to the dealer if the problem keeps happening...

You sure you're not hitting the "recirculate" button on the steering wheel? That would definately turn the a/c on.

stuck button somewhere??? press them all in to see if any are stuck..

Is your ventilation system still on, and if so, is it on automatic climate control? This may be your "ghost"!
