I actually think the contrast of the silverish stock wheel color with the black paint looks great.
Ditto, the wheels by themselves look great but not on black. that's my opinion.

If you like them, then who cares? My guess is that you posted because you have doubts too?

Waiting for a BSM to do this color scheme to match the interior stitching.

I'm wondering how power-coated gray(non-metalic) OEM wheels with matching mirror caps would look like on AW.

Like this maybe:

+1 I like the contrast of the Silver too but thats just me. If it were me besides the silver the only other option for BSM would be Gold BBS LM's. It's your car and if you like it then that's all that matters.

Hey V1k0d3n,

Thank you for posting these pictures of your tints and storm grey rims. You helped me in making my decision with my BSM 1M (that i PMed you about) of NOT to get tints and painted rims. I really appreciate, best regards Chris.

V1k0d3n,

don't over do it, man... It's way too dark. I love BSM, but man, all black is not my fav. I like how it looks moving though, the 2nd picture from the bottom. I might get a portion of my windows covered as I like the way privacy glass option on Non-US cars. but I would not tint everything... Originally I wanted a tint, and my first color choice was VO, changed the last moment even though I knew I would not be able to tint everything. VERY HAPPY with BSM, no regrets at all, but I realized there would be some mods I would not be able to do to a black car.

I like them OP!
Silver rims are extremely boring imo. Silver is to rims like beige is to cars .
Any paint helps give life to what I find a rather lacklustre set of rims.
I know the CSL look is classic, but I just personally find them boring, and kind of a let down since BMW could've part-bin sourced us something forged instead.

OP: The wheels look great--but not a fan of them on a BSM 1M.
