As you said, each to their own. It's just that my view is the only view that's correct!

Yeah a lot of us here know Damian's work. He posted my best friend's black Carrera S and my dark green Aston Martin on the final inspection forum. You should see what $450 each did to our cars! Worth every cent.

LOL, I think that's a standard question for Wayne  I know I've asked him that every chance I get Still nothing yet... Hoping persistence will come good :eyebulge:

Actually, these days, I'd rather a ride in his 135 when he gets it :headbang:

I have to agree with smarm. After owning solid black and metallic black I much prefer solid black. I detail as a hobby and the results you can get with solid black (if you have the time & patience) are far superior than to metallic black and personally I find them more satisfying. Yes metallic black is easier maintenance. But each to his own.

It is like shaving with foam from a can vs whipping up a traditional English shaving cream with a badger hair brush.

You sound like a boss I had years ago who came back from a 2 months course - I think it was Stamford University Executive MBA (paid for by the company for $150k!). He was taught the AHA moment, and after that every time we were at meetings, he would go AHA! I mean seriously, just make it sound stupid.

bugger... ah well back to the drawing board.

Just a quick opinion from everyone, Seeing the the 135i will probably be more than i could afford. What are peoples opinion on the new Mitsubishi Evo X? Good friend of mine is a manager for one of the dealers so i could get a good price, What are everyones opinions on the car itself? yay or nay? Performance wise its quite good, especially in the handling department. but don't know about realiability. Thoughts and opinions would be good.
Cheers

Hey LAM,

I think if you can get a good price on the Evo X, its a great alternative.

I almost bought that as I had also sold my evo 8 MR a few months ago. Great cars, like a go kart and you know japanese reliability is always number 1.

They are tough as nails. I was going to buy the evo x, but they would not offer any discount on the car, quoted 67k on the road for Evo X GSR 5 speed manual, no extras. Plus all the delays on delivery, I thought hmmmmm 67k on an evo with no leather seats.... quite high. I think both Mitsu and Subie are really starting to over price their cars and especially with the aussie dollar so high, there is really no excuse. The 135i although not a direct competitor will no doubt be competition with the Evo X and Subie in terms of sales.

A lot of Evo drivers in the US, well slightly older guys like myself have switched over to the 135 as it is really not much more in price when you compare specs.

However you decide, you pretty much will have a great ride. Good Luck, I sure wouldn't mind having both in my garage

BMWDave, welcome. What is your spec? I should start a poll on the colours. I reckon a large majority is going for white!
