Agency Power Mid pipe hangs a bit more

i have a N54 with AA catles DP stock mid pipes and Berk muffler delete .
Today my shop was going to install my new Agency Power Mid pipes but there was a bit of a problem. The Agency mid pipes were hanging a bit lower and the the bracket the bolts to the cars body couldn't get screwed in because the mid pipes were in the way hanging a bit lower . Both connections on the down pipes side and the exhaust side were perfectly fine connected. My shop told me that they will order some kind of exhaust spacers from Dinan with longer bolts and that it should be perfectly fine.

has this ever happened before ?

what are your guys thoughts?

I used 3/8 spacers between the body and the brace and longer bolts. Mine bolted on, but it rattled against the new pipes (Magnaflow, but same issue). No issues since. I used aluminum stock, but you could use a stack of washers just as effectively

Chassis stiffener. it ties the two sides of the tunnel together, and to the rear subframe. It wont hurt anything to run without it, but you lose some stiffness without it.

OK cool by puting spacer inbetween the the brace so there can be clearance won't hurt anything right?
