The German brochure says the iPod kit is not compatible with the nav. Is this old info making its way into this new brochure, or is it really the case?
Cuz I thought there is a new iPod kit compatible with all bimmers..

isnt it that they're using a universal kit that will let one use several mp3 players and not just iPod. perfect example: the e90 has an AUX plug, no longer the ipod adaptor.

Today I got E92 Coupe 335i German Dealer Brochure and Price List from BMW Germany and read in the brochure following sentence(warning?) regarding type 230 rims:

"Rad-Reifen-Kombination für extrem sportliche Optik bei eingeschränktem Federungs- und Abrollkomfort."

My translation: wheel-tyre-combination for extreme sporty optics with reduced suspension- and continous-travel-comfort.

What do you think about this statement?

Can't BMW do a better job with the exhaust-pipes. They seem to be hanging loose. Perhaps design cue from Acura, Lexus etc. I think they should make them look rigid.

I'd say it means there going to ride like shit, be ready to feel every little bump in the road. But maybe better on a track??

Maximinimaus, how does jade grey look in the brochure? (I've seen the scans but was wondering if it looks diferent in real life). Is it lighter than reg. grey? Also is grey poplar dark like it looks in e90fleets configurator or is it more grey in color? Thanks in advance for your subjective opinions.

Arbitrage, jade grey looks lighter than normal grey, in contrast to the pictures of the E92 interior we've seen from the configurator, where normal grey appeared ligther than jade grey. Maybe with a very small touch to green. Looks to me like a mixture of normal grey with cream beige. In either case, it's darker than lemon and not so bright and light as we saw it on the pics on the forum.
Grey poplar looks very dark, similar to E90Fleets pics. To give you an opinion, X5 trim "Pappel rauchgrau(poplar smokegrey)" looks very similar to me. Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot maximinimaus, so are you for sure going with jade grey, monaco blue and grey poplar? When are you ordering your car?

I don't know exactly. Rims are now a question, type 189 or 230. Montego blue is also an option. Another thought is titanium silver with black leather and alu trim or black sapphire with coral red and poplar grey. Space grey is also in my head.
I'll order in June, hoping BMW will supply a public configurator in this month. I'd like to see the colours in real before I order.

You sound even more confused than me! But I know its really hard especially when we don't have real life pics of the interiors and that so many color combos will look good. I'm now leaning towards jade grey with aluminum trim. I will place my order on Thursday but I should be able to change it for a while until they build in July/Aug.

Is the exterior colour black sapphire? And the rims? What other options will you order? Will it be a 335i or a 328i?

I hate it when I'm right

Well, the price point is slowly increasing...every page seems to show that the 335 will be pushing 50 by the time you add sport/prem package.

My source is holding pretty fast to a $1K bump over E90 330 base for the E90 335...I'd say closer to $42-43K with sport/premium.

Greg I'm hearing closer to 1.8k plus a yearly 'adjustment' that is not yet determined. But it still looks like somewhere south of 40k MSRP with no options but including delivery.

You could be right as my guy has told me up to $1500 over base but is bringing up only $1000 lately...I think $39K base with delivery will be the number.

BMW NA will sell a lot at that price. The buyers that want a 335 are going to be willing to pay more for the turbo; folks that are wary of it should be happy with the 328.

I am just still astonished that BMW will be providing a near 5 sec 0-100kph car that I can justify having in my garage. It's almost like finding a 507 in a barn.

Dude, I agree...I am so excited I really try not to think about it...because October is a long ways off and I will have to go BMW-less starting on 6/24...which will suck.

The 335 will rock! If it offers ZHP like performance package it couldn't get any better

If I were you I might think about trying to swap the E46 ZHP stuff into the 335. Too bad you can't hold onto it until fall.

Yeah...the ZHP has 54K miles on it and even though it has been rock solid, other than the horrible sunroof clip design, I think it might need new brakes and tires in the next 3-4 months...and I certainly don't want to put $ into that...plus extending the lease doesn't make much sense because BMW FS doesn't lower the rate even though the term is increasing...my wife's G35 lease is up in January so we will probably get her replacement car now...something cheap and reliable that gets good gas mileage...probably an 06 Accord.

Question...my total end of lease payoff, including sales tax, is $25,229.34...would you pay this for an 03 330 ZHP (it is in excellent shape) with 54K miles on it? I have looked online and that appears a bit too high...I have thought about buying it out and trying to resell it later but by then it will have over 60K miles on it and that may be hard to get rid of.
