Too Much Information?
This was my 'mod' for today - mounted my Galaxy tab in the car with a BT OBDII link. Finally I have water temp! And a few other goodies.
Mounting arm: $10 Amazon ELM327 dongle $12.95 Amazon Torque Pro App $4.95 So for about $27 (and my existing phone or tab) I have a new dashboard! Yeah - and had the SSK install done this morning.

Actually the tab is not in front of the windshield at all when driving. The top edge of the tab is below the windshield line. Perhaps they may take issue with the mount, but if I get pulled over for it I'm likely to get a warning if I discuss the fact that I did pay attention and mount the tab below the windshield line and just didn't consider the mount. Plus I can pull it off right away.
I guess time will tell..

Since my car has been at the dealer since june 20th 2012, I went to the dealer and told them to do an oil change (only 1000km left to the next service), because I don't want to take it there for at least a couple of months.
Reading through all these threads made me realize how much I miss my car

I haven't had time to wash my car, so I took it to a car wash on the way to work. It was good because they use soft cloth and no brushes so I think for this time I'm ok

Today I spent several hours washing, then chamoising, then claying, then swirl removing, then polishing, then waxing my car. Needless to say I am quite tired but the finished product looks fantastic!

Yesterday I took it to ///MFest and took it on a "spirited" hour long drive.

For the first time in 6 months, I started the engine. I was deployed and just got back last night. She started right up as if I never left. Had it on a trickle charger and used Seafoam fuel stabilizer and it seems to be working great. The tires look low but I'm not getting any warnings, might just be me.
Tomorrow I'll be throwing my summer wheels on for a couple months before going right back to winter mode |

Today I washed+shampooed the car, clayed the rocker panels, and finished with wax. Icarbon diffuser going on this week, new mids and FMIC should be on soon after.
