Carbon Fiber Sun Roof
iCarbon, Please, Can you make me a carbon fiber replacement for my sunroof. BMW idiocracies have forced the sun roof down our throats. Can you save us?
I would like to remove all the guts except for lower sun shade and replace the glass. Not sure how to deal with waterproofing and strength. Or perhaps just a replacemt piece for the glass allone. Last edited by JB135MDCT; 06-04-2010 at 11:05 AM.. |

I almost bought one when I first bought my car but decided to use my glass one a few years first. What was available at the time was a glass replacement piece that retained all the normal sunroof functions. I agree, I'd love to have that option available although I might still wait a few years before I buy one since I'm sure it would not age real well.
