Why would I not buy this car (m3 content)? Anyone in Dallas wanna see it?

http://texasclassiccarsofdallas.com/...M3%20Coupe.htm

Holy hell, I haven't considered an M3 in awhile, but damn... Frozen Grey, less than 2k miles? I dunno... I've been so hot for a 1M but this is MIGHTY tempting. Damn. Anyone in Dallas seen this car or know its story? Might anyone want to take a look at it?

NEVERMIND

I knew that was too good to be true. They have another website, same address but .net instead of .com

On the .com site they had the price at $50k. I was about to buy it.

On the .net site, they price is $69k, which I am pretty sure is the right price. Bastards.

Mostly, yes... but a $50k 1800 mile frozen gray M3 would win. But alas, it didn't really exist.

1M is a car for the ages. The frozen cars are just a high maintenance paint job. Not anymore fun to drive than shiny M3! 1M is last dogfighter. The m3 is multi-role fighter bomber. 2 cents.

The M6 they have is listed for $85k at .com and $115k at .net. That's really strange.

i'd much rather have a 1M! Far more unique than just a paint job, IMO!

I totally agree- what everyone needs to remember is that when I looked at this I thought it was $50k. That's too good to pass up. If there was a 1M with 1800 miles (or stories or secret damage) for $50k I would buy it now.

What's funny is, it totally depends on the crowd. Porsche guys keep telling me I'm crazy not to be looking at 996TTs, and part of me understands this too.

I owned an E92 M3. S65 is something to experience. If you're on the fence, even a little, test drive one. If you do decide that an E92 M3 is the move, look for a low mileage, stripper 2013. They are rare, but much more common than the 1M. IMHO- frozen colors are pain to care for (and protect) and as a collector, there are a ton of E92 M3s... special editions will out perform, but not like a 1M.

Must be some high roller pimped out porsche group.

A 911 GT3 is not only a better car but a better value than a 911 turbo.

Not sure I agree- a 911 GT3 is obviously a much better car, and also command nearly double the money from what I can gather. I can swing $50k. Cannot swing $90k. If I could, there was a speed yellow GT3 for sale that made me hard just looking at it.
