Those baseline numbers seem pretty high. And what reflash did they use?

It's actually called DME Tune:
http://dmetune.com/ Started by Jim Conforti, a long time BMW tuner http://blogs.edmunds.com/roadtests/2...e-reflash.html

Wasn't Conforti behind the Shark edit as well? Interesting that all three stages are the same "introductory" price. Most stock whp numbers I've seen have been 265-275. Not bad numbers for stock.

So I saw that they don't write over the software like Dinan, does that mean no tuner code? a member using the Let software threw a code recently

It's a legitimate question and your response was childish. Some parts manufacturers display crank numbers instead of wheel. They do this to make their numbers seem more impressive.
Also they didn't show the monitor for the dyno. They just flashed a number on the screen instead. Odds are it is wheel horsepower but since they didn't specify it's a valid question. |

I am guessing wheel, because we all know the N54 is underrated and hence a stock 285 whp makes sense
