Color is amazing on the 1m. Love that color since I saw it on the m6.

What's the impact on your resale value ... If I were to shop for a used Bimmer, I wouldn't buy a painted one

looks nice(ish) but you do realize you just lost about 10% of the cars value + the cost of the paint job?

Pure sex on wheels!
Saw the car when it came back from the paintshop
and I immediately fell in love with the look.
Great choice!
Take care of it!

Smile Nice Blue

I always liked Blue but could not see to pay the extra 5 grand for the 2015 M3 I picked up in September.
I had the 1995 M3 for 19 years, used as a track event and nice weather car.
That car was an Avue Blue which I think was one of the best blues ever.

Aargau??

Sick color!!! Question, you said your bay is flat black, what was the original color of your car? Not frozen black right? JB?

It is a rare car but it's not THAT rare. The OP is enjoying his car even more now than when it was white. I believe you should enjoy your car for you, not keep it a certain way for the next owner.

That being said, I don't think you are wrong. But consider this; all the OP needs if and when he does decide to sell his car is ONE person that likes the paint job. The OP still has a 1M, and its painted a unique and really nice color.

I don't think he'll have any problem with resale.

Not to rain on your parade, but I think you killed the resale value for the car by a significant amount.

I preferred it in white 😎

Regardless of resale value argument, that color should have came from the factory for the 1M. Well done indeed!

there are only 760 or so 1m's. most would consider that pretty rare. I don't think the demand for them is super high though. n54 with a bunch of bolt on m3 bin parts.....not for everybody I guess. I do think that a color change on any car, especially this one, effects resale and collectibility substantially. Honestly with all the wrap any plastidip options out there these days it's almost silly to repaint unless it was in a major accident or something.
