So envious of the 1M it looks so hot in real life and I so want those wheels on my car!

I just got off the phone with my friend at BMW Melb, our car is going to be put "away" NO ONE, well maybe Way, will have acces to it, let alone open it or start it. The discussion went well and I trust he will do as he says, after all he is one of the rare breed I have come across in the industry who is truly passionate about the product! We have agreed on a KM max at delivery (noting I know what they were on Friday, 6 (thanks Way)) so it will be obvious if the car has been driven without his specific approval.

I offered for him to have the car sat in their new M showroom on display locked, he declined as he didn't want anyone to be touching it, nor did he trust all of the other sales consultants , so sorry Melbournians, if you want to see and touch it get into the dealers mid morning on Friday the 10th and watch Way rip out of the driveway in it hahahaha

I wonder if we would all be so precious if they were the 100,000th 1Ms being delivered?

End of an era cars do well with appreciation. Witness the last air cooled Porsches. Last pre war Bugattis. GTHO 351s. A9X Toranas. 1Ms.

No need to stress, Alpine, about the grubby paws. I called BMW Melbourne on Saturday requesting to view a 1M (which I believed to be on show), and was promptly advised that there would be no viewings - no viewings, not here, not anywhere, not now, not ever

Was a bit disappointed, right until reassuring the sales assistant that I was a customer at the rival dealership.

Way, I don't know or even care who it was ... am loyal to Bib Stillwell haha. In any event, would prefer that all 1M vehicles be given protected/inaccessible status
