Perrrrrfect!
Be sure to report back ride compared to stock at your settings. Seems to me KW is the best coilover value out there right now. Did you get their camber plates? |

I got to drive it for an hour today. Initial impressions are that the ride is superior in compliance (less harshness on bumps on the recommended settings) yet the car feels more planted and stable. For sure the dampers react quicker. There also appears to be increased side loading on the steering wheel when turning (more steering feel) although that is probably a function of the new alignment specs. It just feels freaking awesome going down the road. |

-2.0 of camber up front I think. Sounds kind of extreme for the street so I think I'll dial it back down to -1.5. Damper settings are the ones recommended in the owner's manual. As far as ride impressions go, much has been written on the topic but I can concur that the ride is indeed superior. It feels and drives in a more "sporting" manner yet it is more compliant and refined. Nice trick KW |

The truth is that I could have gone with a number of different brands but... a) I used to drive a E46 M3 with PSS9s and one day I got to drive one with the KWs. The difference was readily apparent and I promised myself to get a set one day! b)I got a killer deal on these from one of our forum members so it was a no-brainer |

KW V3 are sensational, good choice, the front end looks good lowered that low, but from experience on the track and daily driving its alot better 10mm higher, closer to stock.

Thank you for the insight. I was trying to balance functionality with aesthetics. It doesn't look or feel too low to me, but it's only been one day. If I find it necessary to pick it up a bit I'll have no problem doing so.

No, absolutely no noise. On the contrary, they feel very refined (as well they should in a BMW). These came with the update that prevents the "coil slap" that I think you're referring to. Drove it hard again this morning and not a peep out of them
