Did anyone catch this cheesy show last week? Not sure when it was on as I PVR'd this one episode because one of the cars was a 2009 135i...if you have ever seen the show they pit 4 different custom cars against each other...

The cars were:

50's Ford truck-rod...full custom everything
60's Impala low-rider...full custom again
70 MG with a LT1 transplant, full custom flame paint job etc
09 BMW 135i...STOCK everything (rims, motor, not even an airbox)! It did have some God awful BMW motorsport stickers on one side (to mimic the Grandsport stripes on a Corvette)...

Yeah so the BMW didn't win...WTF was he thinking....my car is more modded and custom than that car and I have a baby-seat in the back!

Saw it, was disappointed in the 135..didn't really rep the group. Agreed, mine is more modded and would have had a better showing than that fella.

Edit - statement retracted re: owner. It wasn't cool nor am I in any position to judge...my apologies. Good luck with the car baylor -

Yes I'm on the boards and that was me in the show. I was pissed but I knew going into it that I would have a tough time. When I auditioned, they commented that it was the cleanist BMW they had seen and best sounding. If I had limitless amounts of money it would have looked better but I don't so it didn't. They didn't even mention the JB4, hardly mentioned it was lowered and you couldn't hear the custom exhaust. I also have more done thanks to the money I got from the show including CF vinyl work and the Scorpione front splitter. FYI the guy with the MGB was a complete ass hole. He acted like he knew everything but after spending several days listening to him, he turned out to be a douch with alot of money, a big mouth, and no life other than his two POS 300z's.

It looked 100% like a stock car with some decals...great sleeper...wrong show.

Nice to hear you got something out of it though...

I honostly didn't expect to get on the show, especially with all the great cars in the dallas area. The only porblem with the show is that everyone has a bias for the classics and show quality cars instead of the performace based cars. The car is a slow work-in-progress. I'll get some photos of what it looks like now posted soon. I personally like the look of the stock rims and am thinking about getting them powder coated a dark grey or saten black. Everyones entitled to their own opinion.

I am curious though, what is the steriotypical look or personality for a 1er driver?
