First time at track Low 12's

Hey guys,

I picked up my 09 135i a bit over a month ago and have since had some fun with just intake and tune mods. I have the JB4 with a MHD back end flash with the BMS DCI. I've raced many cars over the years and I am actually in a drag racing league. Last Sunday was the first time I was able to take the car down the quarter mile and to be honest I was very impressed.

Without any track prep at all I was able to get a 12.29 @ 115 with a horrible 2.01 60' thanks to my soon to be replaced run-flats

I will probably be posting my logs later but my biggest question now is what can I do to get the times down at the track? How do you guys get your best times? How do you launch etc?

That's a solid time! Tires are going to be a big help, get rid of extra weight if you have any. Breaks between passes is crucial.
