Question 1er Cabrio: phone location and front airbag interference (pics?)

I'm trying to fnd a good spot for a phone in my '13is Cabrio with Nav and 2nd cup holder installed. Prime location candidates with least effort is over front central vents, one closest to the driver is a OK, however the phone then blocks 1/3 of the Nav screen, which is annoying. The one closest to the passenger appears ideal as far as Nav screen (out of the way) and ergonomics (easy to reach, peripheral vision still on the road), but there might be a problem.

I have a nagging suspicion that a phone mounted there will become a projectile at a time of crash due to airbag deployment so I was wondering if anyone has a diagram of what that deployment area looks like for that particular airbag. Has anyone seen any pictured/diagrams/etc. that sort of depict what I'm talking about?

I don't think there's any way that an airbag will be hitting that area

I've been pretty happy with my Arkon lighter socket mount:

But I heard this is good:

I always push the Koomus CD slot mount, if you don't use CD's.

I second this. Rock solid. Only issue is it blocks the radio screen in my '11 DCT no-nav. I use Pandora so it's not really a problem but something some folks might not like
