Carbon Fiber Vinyl on 135 roof?
I have seen several pictures now of some Carbon-Fiber look vinyl on the roof to mimic the M3, just wanted to get some other people's opinions on this....also will the vinyl scratch the paint at all?

I agree that it is stupid to put that crap on your car. It will add weight and look really cheap, as all stick on fake CF products do.

yeah do matte black
i still dont understand how they did that fake carbon fiber vinyl on that aw car. its impossible to do without stretching the vinyl (ive tried heat gun is your friend) so you would think it would distort the cf "look" |

If you really want to, do it black, not fake CF. My biggest concern is that the roof line doesn't flow with the A and C-pillars. A contrasting roof skin will highlight this flaw in the original design.

I like the idea of a black roof on this car, especially with a white car, but why use vinyl? Eventually it is just going to start looking like crap so why not just paint it?

well for first of all, this is premium vinyl that has a 6 year outdoor rating, so it should last. Second is that fact that it can be reversed at any time  also painting is more expensive, i did this myself

I really dig the look? I wonder what it looks like on SGM!
Is it gloss? How is the wear? Do you wax/Zaino it? JC

I think if properly done a nice matte black on the roof along with the carbon fiber performance accessories and black rims would look really clean, depending on the color of your vehicle.
Whatever you do though don't get cheap looking carbon fiber on the roof... Thats something I would expect to see on a honda

There are so many companies out there that offer wrapping. Most of them are just cheap, but if you want the best quality then thers no other than FoilAcar.
Here's a sample of the 3D CF.
