Tay's Question Time - Edition #3
After Editions 1 and 2 (crazy things a dealer has told you, and your 3 favourite things about your 1er), this month's edition comes on the topic of music.
Inspired by a string of posts between chylld and myself, and me thinking again of summer nights with the sunroof open and Calvin Harris playing while darting up the F3 on a random drive, what genre of music do you listen to (if you listen to music when driving) in your 1er? ----- Night: anything upbeat, fast. Day: Depends, but usually chilled out rock. Scorpions, Eric Clapton etc. Long-haul Freeway: A whole range, but usually as i do in the daytime, or a steamy romance novel via spoken word. Artists like Sting usually get a good look in on these drives. |

Having just had a few late night trips to and from; Dalby, Gympie and Noosa, I've been having a dance party in my car with Faithless and New Order turned up nice and loud to keep me awake.
No complaints from me on the "HiFi Pro" system! Great highs and lows. Clear and distortion free. Oh, and I've got my average economy down to 9.6lt/100km! |

orlin you can have my (genuine bmw) ipod cable if you want my ipod nano (which has been my car audio slave for my last 3 cars) just gave up the ghost... so usb stick it is.
i used to listen to jap techno music when driving, anything from the initial d anime lol. realised about 2 years after uni that i was getting a bit old for that stuff so now listen mainly to acoustic and a bit of canto r&b and jazz/blues. on long drives i sometimes listen to an audiobook - "how to be a good manager" etc. |

I listen to all different kids of things depending on my mood...everything from rock to pop to heavy metal and most of what comes in between. Currently I have got the ipod set to play all the songs in alphabetical order of the song title - it's fun trying to guess what song will be next. It's an eclectic mix so the result so far are interesting, to say the least. I'm up to the letter "F" so far!

Mainly listen to a bit of punk, rock, alternative and sometimes some 'screamo'. Bands like Thrice, Strung Out, Silverstein and Rise Against are getting a fair work out lately.
Otherwise, whatever is on the radio! |
