I have to sell my 135

The reason is myself and Mrs. Mattyv saw "Quantum of Solace" last night and she likes the Aston Martin he drives.

So does anyone know someone who'll buy a 2nd hand 135i with less than a thousand k's on the odo for about $250k?

Good movie IMO too.

Umm, hate to burst your burble, but there is no $250k Aston. The DBS he drives is double that drive away!

Saw this last night, didn't think it was super good to be honest.

But hell that DBS is nice.

Way, whats a Vantage go for once on road? 300k? Could pick up a 2nd hand one low 200s by now hey?

Yeah the realistic on road price of Vantage is $300k upwards. No one buys one of these cars with no option! I know, cos I ticked all the boxes myself!

Please don't talk about the movie anymore as I am watching it tonight!

Apparently they went through 14 Astons filming the movie. I'm sure there are some cheap seconds available, prob not if your picky about whether they start or not or have 4 wheels.

Carsales has one for sale in NSW I think somewhere around the $260k mark. It's a Vantage, not a DBS.

Mein gott it's a sexy car.

It would be a hell of a lot cheaper just to sell the wife.

Yes, very good movie, though I like more the one before, but how could those 159 kept up with the DBS, other than that it was good.

Astons are over rated. Buy 911's. They are better. As to how the 159 can keep up, well they were driving around traffic and off road, and all the horsepower in the world is not going to help you!

Now the movie. I liked it, but thought there were too many action scenes with close up shots. They give me a headache. I liked the previous one better. I'm going to watch Australia next week but I don't think we will be discussing that one here with no cars in sight. Lol

I am a James Bond tragic and love all the movies. this one missed a bit of the light heartedness that James Bond movies are renound for. A bit to dark, Jason Bourn'ish, not enough Aston action and of course -
'Chauvinistic tendancies'.

Mattyv,

Guess I am lucky I have the best of both worlds. I can drive the Bimmer or go around to my old mans house and Drive his Aston Martin DB9 Convert.

Its better than spending your own $$$$$

disappointed by the movie personally. ironic, how after all these years from russia with love is still the best one by far. agreed that $ for $ astons are not true performance cars, but i'd rather drive a db5 than a scuderia. wouldn't most of us?!
