It's not bad, but I'm don't want to install an oily intake on my 4k mile old engine. If I'm going to do it I'm going to do it right. Stig can I get the part numbers for the intake manifold gaskets and bolts? Thanks

I will keep that in mind. I would like to do the install and tune all in one shot. Individual car designs is around Stuttgart so I may be able to coordinate a date to do it all in one shot.

So I ordered the gaskets and hardware today. I just want to confirm that I have the right manifold again. The part numbers are different from what the stig had posted. Here they are, tag reads like this
N52B30 OL KPLM164 754802707 51750610 08051320278 Part came from an E60 523i. Please confirm evolve can tune this manifold. I concerned because it didn't com from a X30i car.....

I've decided to install the intake now and grab the tune after my tax return comes back! I got it all cleaned up today! What a job. I thought I was going to break the disa valves to get them out! Found out they are BRAND NEW! The intake manifold had a light oil coating on the inside but the disa valves were clean which tells me they were either replaced or cleaned at one point or another. Just have to wait for the gaskets and hardware to arrive and in a coupe weeks and I'm gonna pop it in! Smellthebeans I will hit you up when everything is in place. I'm willing to drive a couple hours for the expirience and assistance.

It looks exactly right, but the part numbers are off. Add stated it fit all n52b30 engines. It might just be a different year since it's supposedly off a e60 523i. From what I understand the 523i had the n52b25 engine, which tells me the add May have been wrong. Just looking to confirm.

If you do,you are okay the canadian 323i LCI had DISA manifold with 2 adjusters, despite 2.5 L engine and preLCI model lacking both disa or maybe 1 disa e60 LCI: lists 2 different disa sizes - the low compression model http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...56&hg=11&fg=40

SO I checked every intake manifold part number ranging from the 3 series, 5 series and X series vehicles with DISA Manifolds. The DIsa part numbers for the valves are the same across the N52 range of engines. The manifold part numbers vary from 9523,9524, and 9525 (last 4) with no decernable differences between them. The 523i did not come with the N52B30, instead it came with the N52B25 2.5L engine which leads me to believe it was listed wrong. I'm pretty confident it will work just fine. I would like your opinions on this as well....?

Well i sent a lengthy email to Evolve in order to confirm this question. I sent them all the pictures and information I have gathered in my search! I trust the StIg with his confirmation but I'm still warry about the part number difference (If there is one and whether or not I'm looking in the right spot). I will have the money for the tune in 30 days or so and I just want to be 100% sure I'm doing this right. I hope they respond quickly.....

I think it's the right intake, just I don't know were to look for the part numbers. If the part number is truncated, how would I convert it? Every BMW with the N52B30 and DIsa all use the same part numbers for the valves according to realoem.com. The manifold part numbers are one digit off depending on series and or US/Euro spec. I think it's simply a cosmetic difference. The manifold has all the same connections as my non disa manifold. It doesn't have the oil canister thing like the one you swapped, instead it just has the oil vapor line so swapping it in should be very simple, just with the addition of the disa valves. It looks identical to the one turnermotorsports.com is selling in their swap kit. Also the E60 330i was the first BMW to get the N52B30OL engine, the E60 523i had the N52B30UL engine, with lower output. Looks to me like it was a missprint in the add. I think I'm good to go here, just waiting for confirmation from Evolve... 30 days to go!

More reason to believe it was listed wrong. From what I've found all disa intakes for the n52b30 engines will work. So I'm confident it's the right one. Once the manifold gaskets are here I'm gonna do the swap and install the tune! Hooray for a 30hp boost!

Ok so I found the part numbers on the disa valves. They are Mahle brand, which means they are aftermarket? Anyways the valve match the realoem.com part numbers for the E90 330i. Part numbers match the StIgs thread, so all is well! Sorry if I was obnoxious with all the questions. Now I'm back to being hella excited!!!!!!!!!

Btw I searched the entire manifold for the part number and couldn't find it anywhere. The only number I found was 130508 followed by 4-211-4D and a production tag of 07/10. I was hoping to see the part number so I could post it but no luck.

You got the right manifold. The barcode tag on the manifold probably has another reference #, not part number.
Enjoy the upgrade when you install it.
