Safe to tint windows on convertible?
Thinking of having the windows tinted, however, since the windows come down a bit when you open the door, wouldn't that screw up the fresh tint? Just wondering.

The Coupe has framless windows too and I didn't have any issues when I tinted my 135.
FWIW I also tinted the windows on my Z4 and didn't have any problems with it either. Just try not to un-necessarily get in/out of the car and you should be good. Try to park in the sun the first couple days too so that the adheasive will cure faster. |

Erie, I just got my 135 tinted, FINALLY, and it's caused no problems so far. THe guy doing the tinting commented that the windows auto down a bit when opening, but he said it shouldn't be an issue. Like I said, no problems here.

When I had mine tinted, my first stop upon completion (of the tint job you sickos) was the ATM machine where I rolled the window down completely. Oops! I went back to the shop and he inspected it and confirmed that it did no harm.
