phone cradle

air vent or side of dash would be ideal. cheers

I saw one at the shops the other day that goes in the cigarette lighter.
Bit better that having it stuck on the window, and it also charges at the same time. But you would have to have the ash tray thing open all the time.

Expensive alright - I paid about $130 for one for my old Nokia. Works well though.

Do you mean that BMW has "cradle" specifically for the HTC Touch HD? If so, do you know if there's a link that shows where / how it fits in the 1Series?
While they're expensive, they do work well, and they negate the need for additional cords around the car . I've done it in the past, and i'd do it again if I could. The problem is that BMW usually doesn't have a cradle for the phone that I have. |

My HTC touch HD does not fit in the space where the cradle usually goes, under the armrest. However the point is that I'd like to be able to see the phone, as it doubles up as a GPS map from time to time.
There's an american company that sells car and phone-specific cradles... but they are ridiculously expensive! http://www.proclipusa.com/ but it looks like they fit well... i'm disappointed that there aren't any smart taiwanese or chinese emulations!

I have the iphone 3g holder and mount for the 135i. I recommend the one that goes on the air vent rather than the one that goes down near the ash tray. |
