Plenty of information. More useful than just posting pics with wheels on. Have a sit and read through it |

I'm a fan of OE BMW wheels. Recently I bought a used (but mint) set BMW 17 inchers for next to nothing MADE IN EUROPE. The individual replaced these with a set of Beyern 18 inchers MADE IN CHINA.
As mentioned by Mike Miller, if you damage 1 of your aftermarket wheels, you may not be able to get a replacement because the aftermarket industry changes their designs often and you're left with only 3 wheels. Here in the North East winter pot holes destroy rim after rim after rim. In 10 years, 20 years I'll still be able to find a replacement BMW rim if I need just one. |

I like BMW wheels as well and bought a set of 18" 313s back in 2011. I Think they are one of the nicest wheels BMW makes for the 1er. They are expensive (what isn't from BMW?) but I think they're worth it. Still like them today as much as I did when I first got them. These wheels are also the standard wheels on the 2013 135is.

The only other wheel designs I like are ones that are similar to the M and CSL wheels If I ever decided to flare my wheel arches I'd love to get the 1M wheels Last edited by lowbudgethero; 03-25-2016 at 02:04 PM.. |

Yeah I was thinking about getting some OEM wheels too, but at the same time I wanted something a little different.

You pretty much have two options, Get an OEM wheel that everyone has (313s, 269s, 359s), or get an aftermarket wheel that everyone has (VMRs).
The offsets for the 1series are unusual, and don't leave you with many options that will allow you the tire you need to enhance the driving experience. Personally I agree with the OEM route, and with the new technology for wrapping and spray powder coating getting easier and cheaper, you could always get an OEM wheel from another BMW, change the color to something unique and have a distinctly different look. Good luck, and happy motoring!

ALUFELGEN SF71 here, I'll be so sad when I finally break one as they are practically impossible to find now.

Absolutely love the VB3. I wish VMR would bring them back in a flowforged version.
