anybody else break third cupholder

ill be damned if my third cupholder didnt break today. the chintsy little flap snapped off.

Its probably because i had my audi coffee mug in there this morning

Just picked up my 135i today and when I got home I noticed the clip was already missing.

I am waiting for a recall on this. Several other people also reported the same thing. It is a faulty retainer spring. Take it back to the dealer.

I discovered that trying to force a one liter bottle into the cupholder causes the flap to fly off. Took me 5 minutes to find it and 2 minutes to reattach it. No problems thereafter.

ive reattached several times. keeps popping out

it doesnt like my audi coffee mug
