I see a lot of black wheels...

Is there a type of car that works best with black wheels or is it entirely up to personal preference? I'm getting ready to get new wheels soon and might try them, but wonder if I will tire quickly of black.

Any thoughts?

Is there a "type of car"? Yes, only BMW's can have black wheels. All other cars are breaking the law.

my 'is' is the only car I've run with non-dark wheels in several years. I don't like bling and I don't like shiny bits....so dark wheels represent a non-bling functional look that I just can't get with silver wheels.

my winter wheels go on in the next few weeks and they are black. pretty excited to get the dark look again!

I like the 313s quite a bit on my car....bit I do sometimes wish they were darker. maybe I'll plastidip them in the spring when try go back on

I personally like dark wheels on any colour.

Don't do it.

Everyone seems to be going with the black wheels... It's not unique anymore.

As a trial, Plasti-Dip your existing wheels and see if you'll like it for the long run.
